Brain is a local-first knowledge system that turns your files, documents, and web sources into a structured, searchable knowledge graph — then exposes it to any LLM via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Most tools for managing knowledge were designed for humans. They optimise for readability, navigation, and manual organisation. Project Brain explores a different view: it is a knowledge system designed primarily for machines — specifically, for large language models operating in agentic and semi-agentic contexts.
